Whole Ancient Grains

Instead of using starches, fillers and gums, we use five powerful, whole ancient grains to make our breads: buckwheat, quinoa, millet, sorghum and teff. These grains have been planted and harvested for thousands of years, with little to no agricultural tampering. Unlike grains such as corn, rice and modern varieties of wheat which have undergone extensive hybridization and genetic modification. What does this mean? Our breads are BURSTING with nutrition!

Real sourdough, patience and love.

That’s right! No baker’s or commercial yeasts are added to our products! We use the ancient method of leavening bread. Why? This ancient process predigests the grains and makes the nutrients available to our bodies. It’s also known to help repair and strengthen the digestive system and therefore promote healing. What a great reason to choose sourdough! It’s all about nutrition.
